Here is the design of my back cover:
The colour scheme is consistent with the rest of the ancilleries which gives the whole project a sense of continuity. The font used contrasts with the black background and sticks with the red and black theme of the other ancilleries. I used a circus font which suggests a playful nature in the music. It has connotations of clowns which are a common fear for a lot of people, which suggests that despite the music being fun it also has a dark undertone running through it.
The image of the lightbulb was taken from my main task which once again adds continuity between my tasks. I chose to use the image of the lightbulb because it is very bright and I feel it creates a good juxtaposition between light and dark. However, to start with there was some invasive glare from the lightbulb which encroached too much on the rest of the design so i altered the brightness and heightened the contrast in order to get rid of it. This gave the image a gritty effect which suits the style of music well.
I researched the kind of information that is found on a back cover and took the copyright and licensing information format from an actual roadrunner record which will make the cover look authentic.
